Shipping and framing
Every painting can be shipped worldwide. To keep costs low, it travels rolled, without its wooden stretcher.
How is a painting shipped?
Martine takes the canvas off its wooden stretcher, protects the painted surface and rolls it carefully into a rigid tube.
A rolled canvas is light and compact. Shipping it costs much less than shipping a stretched painting in a crate.
How much does shipping cost?
It depends on the size of the painting and on the destination. Martine tells you the price of the painting and the shipping cost when she answers your request, before anything is decided.
What do I do when it arrives?
Take the canvas to a framer near you. They stretch it on a new wooden stretcher and, if you wish, frame it. It is quick, everyday work for any framer.
Can I see the painting before deciding?
Yes. Ask Martine for more photos or a short video of the painting. You can also see her work at her exhibitions.
